"Tomar Khola Hawa" is an animated music video produced for SVF Music, one of Bengal's most celebrated and respected music labels, created as a Valentine's Day tribute to one of Rabindranath Tagore's most beloved compositions.
The brief was both simple and deeply demanding. Take a song that generations of Bengalis have grown up with, one that already lives in the memory and emotion of its audience, and find a visual language worthy of it.
Animation gave us that freedom. Unbound by the constraints of live action, we built a world that moves the way the song feels, open, gentle, and quietly overwhelming in the way that only Rabindrasangeet can be.
The result is a film that honours the original while making it feel immediate, a Valentine's offering that speaks equally to those hearing the song for the first time and those who have carried it with them for a lifetime.
